Introduction
Guerilla art intervention: May 6, 2001 (approx 6 to 7 am). A stealth team was dispatched to beak and document approx. 80 angel sculptures in various downtown Los Angeles locations. The 6-foot tall statues were part of a city-wide art project, “A Community of Angels.” The beakings were temporary and did not harm the statues.
