Future Studio Gallery began in 2006, when we discovered that a Northeast Los Angeles Gallery Night (NELAart.com) had been started. We wanted to participate. The building which houses the gallery is a multi-tasking facility which includes Future Studio Design office (graphics and book design), an art studio, and which is also the home of Chicken Boy (aka the Statue of Liberty of Los Angeles). The gallery shows a variety of visual art and is affiliated with the Arroyo Arts Collective, hosting the yearly Discovery Tour preview exhibition and other Collective-related shows throughout the year. We just want to show interesting art by interesting artists, many of them our neighbors.
